The Cognitions for CASC training course offers comprehensive training and mentoring
for the MRCPsych CASC exam. The training model is effective in identifying areas for
improvement and reducing habitual errors in CASC scenarios. The course provides
intensive training in small groups with a high trainer to candidate ratio.
Whether you are taking the CASC for the first time or have already attempted it, our training will help you identify any barriers to success. In addition to clinical knowledge and skills, the course will improve your interview and communication skills and techniques. It will also identify any personal factors such as exam anxiety, previous experience and individual factors that may need addressing.
We have an experienced team of trainers and role-players who understand the CASC requirements well and have supported several candidates in their exam preparation.
To work collaboratively with individual candidates in order to make a meaningful difference to their CASC skills by identifying barriers, providing honest feedback, imparting training and remaining supportive and persistent during the transition.
We are only able to accept a limited number of bookings and are unable to increase the number of training places. This is based on our conviction that real change happens only in small groups!
Our trainers are able to review your exam feedback and discuss your requirements in a confidential manner. Please contact us if you are interested. There is no charge for this service.
