CASC Skills Course

Our face-to-face CASC Skills Course brings together experienced consultant psychiatrists and professional actors in a small group setting — giving every candidate the individual attention and honest feedback that makes a genuine difference.

The day is built around practice under real exam conditions. You will move through a range of CASC stations with strict timing just the real exam, so the pressure and pace feel familiar.

After each station, you will receive personalised coaching tailored to your specific performance. Your trainers will identify habitual patterns that may be holding you back — whether in body language, communication style, clinical structure, or time management — and work with you directly to address them. Feedback is honest, specific, and always constructive.

The course covers the clinical acumen and communication skills most relevant to passing the CASC, with a particular focus on how to apply that knowledge effectively in the exam setting. Knowing psychiatry is not enough — you need to demonstrate it clearly, confidently, and within seven minutes. That is exactly what this course prepares you for.
